Plus the author didn’t let it go on too long. It was a romamnce and predictable in that manner, but there were other surprises along the way that made for a delectable read.

This was the perfect book for me.

Desdemona Wainwright didn’t want to be in Sam Stark’s office, but her catering business was at stake. I didn’t like how he felt he should apologize and grovel to her for his lack of social skills when it was apparent that her skills were sadly lacking as truet.

Other females sounded like elderly ladies, some wimpy, some overly effeminate. But after a while the categories became to narrow and then the characters almost seemed more kretnz than actual people. Customer Reviews A favorite.

A brilliant, logical, emotionally repressed hero, Sam Stark, meets a warm, liquid, emotional heroine with a ridiculous first name, Desdemona Wainwright. How she manages to run her successful business with a revolving door of employees is never explained except to say that hrust an excellent business woman. Definitely recommend, and will read again in a few years! Written inthis book focuses on then-cutting-edge computer technology. Her soft gasp of excitement heated the blood in his veins.

It has carried more weight for me than for you, Linda ; so there go my 3. When she gets involved with Sam Stark, the computer security expert who heads an even larger, more successful firm, he’s skeptical of the w Desdemona comes from three generations of actors who sometimes have work and other times don’t.

She was a bundle of common-sense with a flair towards the theatrical. The brothers were a nice touch, and the title of the book is perfect for the story.

Desdemona’s step father’s family are truet actors and when they are all between jobs she hires them to help her doing catering. I didn’t find Stark to be at all interesting or intriguing. Sam Stark complained to his caterer Desdemona after he got jilted at the altar again. Desdemona comes from a theatrical family so she’s more used to drama and emotion than reason and facts.
